Ticket policy:

An event permit includes entry into the Horror Movie Campout for one person and includes a car park space and a camping space. You will need to bring a tent or a swag, camper vans are permitted.

 

Purchasing a "Glamping package", additional to your Event tickets allows access for up to 3 campers to the VIP "Glamping" campground within the event, a pre-set up dome three person tent for your accommodation, and a reserved seating area in front of the main cinema screen. All you need to bring is your bedding and sleeping gear Tents are 2100 mm by 2100 mm square.

 

Strictly 18+:

By agreeing to the terms and conditions and purchasing a ticket to the Horror movie campout, you are confirming you are/or will be by the event date eighteen years or older. All ID’s will be checked when you register at the event. NO ID= NO ENTRY and NO REFUNDS.

 

Alcohol and drugs:

The Horror Movie Campout has a fully serviced bar so it is strictly NO BYO ALCOHOL. All bags and bedding will be checked on entry for alcohol and drug possession and if these items are found they will be confiscated and not returned. Hot food and snacks will be available for sale. We do not permit the entry of snacks or food in to the HMC. Soft drink, energy drinks and juice is also not permitted. There is strictly no entry of cooking appliances (including bbqs and gas cookers).

Closed bottled water is allowed in to the event.

 

Duplicate tickets:

Your event permit (ticket) must be printed. If copies of tickets are made, the first scanned ticket to arrive at the event will be allowed entry.

 

Refunds, exchanges and replacements:

1. Movie Campout will only offer a refund or exchange of a ticket if an event is cancelled, rescheduled or significantly relocated by the Seller (and you cannot or do not wish to attend the rescheduled or relocated event), or to the extent otherwise required by law (including the Australian Consumer Law). You must apply for a refund within a reasonable time. Movie Campout does not offer refunds or exchanges as a result of a change in your personal circumstances.

 

 

2. If an event is cancelled, rescheduled or significantly relocated by the Seller, all liability is limited to the amount for which the ticket was purchased (including any fees or charges). Proof of purchase may be required for any refund or exchange. Neither Movie Campout nor the Seller will be liable for any other losses incurred by you as a result of the cancellation, rescheduling or relocation of an event, including any travel and accommodation expenses.

 

 

3. Movie Campout will only replace lost, stolen, damaged or destroyed tickets if the authenticity of the ticket can be verified, including proof of purchase, and if you give reasonable notice before the event. Movie Campout may charge a reasonable fee for the replacement of tickets.

 

4. In the event you purchase the wrong ticket or accicently purchase the incorrect number of tickets you will need to contact Movie Campout in writting with-in 24 hours. Refunds will incure an admin charge of $25.00. Strictly no refunds for change of mind or any reason after 24 hours of purchase.

 

Tickets:

The ticket holder MUST be in possession of a ticket upon check in to the Horror Movie Campout along with photo I.D.  Tickets are transferable and will be scanned apon entry to the HMC.

 

Pass Outs:

The camp site will open at 3:00 pm and gates into the event will open at 4:30 pm. There will be strictly no pass outs for campers from the festival back into camp site and carpark once you are in the event due to licensing restrictions.

 

Inclement weather policy:

The Horror Movie Campout operates RAIN OR SHINE. If something unforeseen does happen and we are forced to close or postpone the event due to inclement weather, the option of a refund will be available. Cancellation will be posted on the HMC website and facebook page. An email will also be sent to all permit purchasers to advise.

 

Toilets and wash facilities:

Portable toilets and toilet paper will be provided at the Horror Movie Campout however, there will be no shower facilities availble.

 

Privacy/Security policy:

The Horror Movie Campout DOES NOT sell or distribute the data we collect during the ticket purchase. We use your data to facilitate the purchase of your tickets and to contact you regarding specific HMC related activities. When you place an order for tickets you will be transferred to a secure website. All personal information, including credit card information, is communicated to us using encryption technology that prevents a third party from gaining access to this information.

Shipping Method: The HMC provides you with an “E-TICKET", which must be printed and provided on check in to the event. You must have a printer to redeem your tickets.

 

Tent specifications and sizing:

The hire of a 3 man tent is included with your ticket when you buy a glamping package only. The floor size  is 2100x2100mm and allows for up to 3 people to camp only. It is your responsibility to bring a sleeping mat, bedding, pillow and chair for the cinema. It may be cold in the event, so ensure you have sufficient warm clothes and bedding.
